Polycarbonate and Bisphenol A (BPA)

May 16, 2008

Dear Valued Customers,

Recently there has been a great deal of media attention surrounding Polycarbonate products and Bisphenol A (BPA). As a supplier of polycarbonate bottles, we have received several inquiries & requests for information about BPA and our products. We have prepared this update and placed links on our website to several agencies that offer additional information and health facts regarding the safety of BPA and polycarbonate plastics.

In addition to polycarbonate plastics, BPA is a key component of metal can liners, eye glass lenses, consumer electronics, water pipes, and recycled paper products. Although we believe that all product health & safety concerns should be taken seriously, it is important to understand the facts surrounding the issues in order to assess the risks. BPA is one of the most extensively tested materials in use today and has been safely used in consumer products for over 40 years.

Polycarbonate plastics have been recognized as safe by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the European Commission’s Scientific Committee on Food, the United Kingdom Food Standards Agency, Harvard University, the National Toxicology Program, the German Federal Institute for Risk Analysis, the Japanese National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology as well as other regulatory agencies worldwide.

AdImage Promotional Group is committed to ensuring that our products are safe, legal, and meet all existing state and federal laws & guidelines. We will continue to monitor this issue and will be updating you with new information as it becomes available. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns regarding BPA.

Thank you for your business,
